It was ikya’s birthday week and we celebrated it in Cebu! It was hard for us to get alone time because we were always either with my family or with the Cebu group. When we finally got our time alone together, I took her to this restaurant that served great food with reasonable prices. As far as I know, this is one of the locations that are frequented by Cebuanos and by tourists as well.

No problem in locating the restaurant – just look for the long line of people. Parking is not really a problem since their branches are mall-based and also its Cebu so enough said. Check this cute kid we saw playing while his parents were waiting in line. :)

Here's their menu.

When you get in the restaurant, you will immediately feel the warmth of the place. It’s really well decorated and you can tell that the owners went the extra mile to put that personal touch. They have toy planes hanging on the ceiling, U.S. license plate numbers on the walls, etc.

Enough on the vibe and down to business. Here is what we ordered:

For starters we got the Therese’s Pieces - Plump chicken tenderloins, double breaded and fried served with honey mustard. These are chicken tenders that are honest to goodness TRUE chicken tenders -no extenders or other ingredients to make it seem big and full. True to their word, they were really deep fried to golden crispiness. The honey mustard sauce was great too.

For our main course, we got the ever popular Brian’s Ribs. Baked pork ribs with a sweet, tangy piquet sauce served with rice, corn and carrots. Just so you know, the picture below seems a bit too big, it is. These ribs are huge! And for the price, not bad at all. We repeat..NOT BAD AT ALL. They are juicy, meaty, hearty, fall off the bone ribs. They are not the type of ribs that you just eat two and your done. This is the dish you finish by yourself. They are GOOD.

And for dessert we had the Milky way milkshake. Why milkshake for dessert you ask? Well, just check out the size of the glass it’s served in! It is as big as a football, and we are not joking.

To let you see how big it is, we took a picture of it with a normal glass. See the difference?

We kind of wish we were joking though, since we weren’t able to finish. It was that big! But it’s a great tasting milkshake nonetheless. Oh did we mention it had chocolate ice cream inside? :)

P.S. they have a 9’’ burger. Will try this next time!

Verdict:
- Family restaurant
- Food is really cheap when you think of the quality and taste.
- Their service is ok. Not much attention from the staff.
- Will definitely come back when we’re both in Cebu to try other dishes! Burger!!!!
