After going to the gym, we were supposed to go to Greenhills to see some friends when we were faced with the dilemma of getting to our car without getting wet. We decided to wait it out for a while when this tiny little resto caught our eye. Thus we found ourselves at Umma.
It’s right below Fitness First, Fort Strip. Parking is not a problem since BGC is addressing this issue. Here is what we ordered...
Free appetizers consisting of eggplant, kikiam, and kimchi! First time ikya tried kimchi and she loved it!
Crabstick Gimbab – Korean maki. You have a choice of ordering either crabstick, tuna, vegetable, etc... Php140
Hotpot Bibimbap – Korean beef, fired egg and vegetable rice. You can also get it in a regular bowl. We chose the hotpot because of the weather. Php190.
Their sauces were so good we had to order extra chilli paste and sauce for the gimbab. Proof that we loved their food.
Because of this restaurant, we are eager to try more Korean food! Any restaurant suggestions?
- The Korean owner overseas the restaurant, so their promise of Korean home cooking is guaranteed...or so we think. =))
- Service is good. No service charge in receipt. As it should be.
- Inexpensive food
- We will come back and try their other dishes! Wait for the update!
